With more than 12 years’ experience in the mechanical and electrical (M&E) sector, Dan oversees several of mel’s key client accounts, managing projects from quotation through to completion while maintaining the high standards that clients have come to expect.

A Contracts Manager’s role extends far beyond paperwork.

On any given day, Dan may be:

• Preparing quotations and managing project costs
• Meeting with clients and stakeholders
• Coordinating engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring project progress and programme delivery
• Ensuring projects remain safe, compliant and commercially successful

It’s a role that requires organisation, technical understanding, commercial awareness and, above all, excellent communication.

After more than a decade working within the M&E industry, Dan recognised something different about mel.

“Throughout my career it has always been a matter of personal pride ensuring I deliver the best possible service to all my clients. This isn’t just about professional self-esteem that motivates me personally, it reflects positively on the whole team and means client retention remains at its optimal level.”
